Viv's Travel Bug is a travel agency situated in the centre of beautiful Bowral in New South Wales.
We cater for many local clients but we also assist travellers from throughout Australia, New Zealand and even as far afield as the U.S. and Europe to gain the benefit of the expertise we have to offer.
Our aim is to provide sound, friendly advice, good service, and continued support for all those who come to us - and we operate on the 'boomerang theory' in that we would like our clients to return to us again, and again.
The business is owned by Viv Craig who has been in the industry for over 18 years. Viv has personally travelled to over 90 countries and she has a passion for adventurous travel to 'different' places.
Her expertise (see Awards) is Africa, South America, Asia (India in particular) and New Zealand, as well as the knowledge gained from having sent several hundred GAP students (including her own two children) on exciting European holidays. Viv promotes 'sustainable' travel and eco-tourism whenever she can, having seen such projects at first hand.
Sarah-Jane Harrison is a senior consultant with 37 years experience in the industry. Sarah-Jane enjoys planning Australian holidays and is the key contact point for all GAP student travel with Topdeck and Contiki tours. Also in the agency are Margaret Sheriff-Bakker who specialises in North America and Europe and Ann Perry who provides years of experience in worldwide fares and ticketing.
Viv's Travel Bug has existed, under different names, in Bowral for over 25 years. When she bought the business Viv wanted to project a new image, one which reflected her intense interest in travel but specifically 'travel with a difference'.
